A Capital Campaign for Concordia Lutheran High School

Since 1935, Concordia Lutheran High School has forged a bold path, guided by unwavering faith. Our mission has been made possible by the courage and faith of those who came before us. Today, it’s our turn to take a bold step—to give our students a 21st-century learning environment that lives up to our reputation for academic excellence.

This is an act of stewardship and an investment in Concordia’s future. When we follow our calling, we allow God’s love to transform our community. When we act boldly, we demonstrate our obedience. And when we step out in faith, God will not let us fail.

As we have navigated through the silent phase of fundraising for A Bold Step with God by our side, we are incredibly humbled by the pure generosity and servant hearts of those who have supported us. We are close to achieving the first funding goal of our new 50,000-square-foot academic wing and know that, with your help, we can boldly step across this Phase One finish line.

This is a pivotal moment for Concordia.  Now is the time to act.

The next step in this journey aims to raise an additional $12 million to transform our campus into a vibrant hub that inspires faith, fosters community and empowers students for generations to come. Within this next step is the chapel-auditorium that is the very core and heart of our school. Our worship, fine arts and community deserve a space that supports clear, impactful communication, where every student and guest feels welcome and at home.

The Case for the Chapel-Auditorium

Our chapel-auditorium is the heart of our Christ-centered community. It’s where we gather to worship, celebrate, learn, and create. But after decades of use, it no longer reflects the excellence of our students or the spirit of our mission. This renovation will renew the space for worship, performance, and community for generations to come.

With an estimated cost of $10 million, this update will restore the heart of our school.

The auditorium will be remodeled and redesigned to be ADA accessible, with a 950+ seating configuration, new lighting, new acoustical treatments, and a new sound system.

The expanded and renovated auditorium lobby will elevate the space, add an ADA-accessible entrance, and enhance future performing arts and worship experiences.

The chapel/auditorium remodeling will include an expanded lobby and entrance, for enhanced accessibility.

The expanded auditorium lobby will be bright and open, with an easily accessible entrance.

The expanded lobby will provide overflow seating for the cafeteria, allowing us to create a lunch schedule that better accommodates academics.

The infrastructure of our current facility is aging and does not reflect the high quality of our educational programming. Without renovation, we are facing millions of dollars in repair costs. Our comprehensive renovation plan addresses these needs—and includes improvements to the safety, security, and functionality of our entire building.
